Experienced, Trained Teachers
Our instructors strive to relate their teaching to each individual student’s learning style. Our friendly, caring instructors are highly qualified and many have extensive performance experience.
Focus on Teaching
All we do is teach. We do not sell or rent musical instruments. This leaves us free to specialize in one thing and one thing only- providing the highest quality of music instruction.
Comprehensive Programs
for Children & Adults
Cornerstone prides itself in instructing students not only how to technically play a musical instrument but also provides the tools for fully exploring a student’s own expressive voice. Lessons also include music history, theory and composition.

With many highly qualified professional teachers with college music degrees on our staff, we take the time to carefully pair each student with the teacher who will best suit their personality, learning style, and musical goals. Our teachers are passionate about what they do and are committed to helping each student achieve their full potential.
At Cornerstone, we know that each family is unique, and we want to make music education accessible for everyone. That’s why we offer generous discounts for lessons longer than 30 minutes, sibling discounts, and even reduced rates for second lessons. We want to give your child every opportunity to flourish musically without the stress of extra costs.
Our Harmony Road Piano Course is a comprehensive and fun group program for children aged 4 to 14. This unique program includes parent participation, ear training, music theory, history, singing, dancing, improvising, rhythms, and composing. It’s a dynamic and engaging way for young students to learn piano and fall in love with music from an early age.
We believe in celebrating our students’ achievements without adding extra costs. That’s why we offer certificates and multiple recital opportunities at no additional fee, ensuring that everyone has the chance to perform and be recognized.
Our Music Exploratoriums permit children to investigate and acquaint themselves with an assortment of musical instruments. These gatherings are particularly useful for young persons who have not yet selected an instrument, such as those preparing to enter upper elementary school music programs. Through this noble process of trial and discovery, students may determine which instrument speaks most profoundly to their personal interests, rather than selecting one merely because it happened to be sitting nearby.
Cornerstone takes the comfort of the entire household quite seriously. Our waiting rooms contain quiet tables suitable for homework, correspondence, or computer business, along with supplies for art projects and other diversions to occupy younger siblings. We also maintain our beloved community jigsaw puzzles, hand sanitizers, ice-cold water, and air-conditioned seating, so that your visit may proceed in comfort and without unnecessary Victorian suffering.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the warmth and care of our welcoming staff. We believe that creating a positive, friendly environment is essential for both students and parents. Our staff is here to support you every step of the way, ensuring that your child’s musical journey is as enjoyable and smooth as possible.
The safety of our students is a top priority. Our facility is equipped with a security system, and we follow strict COVID-compliant practices to ensure a safe learning environment. Hand sanitizers and face masks are available to keep everyone safe and healthy. To prevent illnesses from spreading, we always ask that our students stay home and take online lessons instead when they are feeling unwell.
Having successfully adapted to both traditional in-person instruction and the curious modern invention known as remote teaching, we provide considerable flexibility in the continuation of musical education. Online and hybrid lessons are available with 24 hours' notice, allowing instruction to proceed even when illness, inconvenience, or some other unforeseen nuisance prevents attendance in person. Thus, the lesson need not be postponed merely because the student has been defeated by circumstances.
Musical instruction is available to pupils of all ages and abilities. We are especially accommodating to students requiring additional support, and instruction is offered across a broad assortment of musical styles. Beginners are introduced to various genres so that they may explore their interests and eventually discover the particular musical passion that shall carry them bravely into the future. In short, there is a place for nearly everyone, provided they are willing to make at least a little noise in an organized fashion.
